Our Story

Chef Guy's culinary journey began in 1992 at Bacco's Bistro in the heart of New Orleans — but his love for food was born long before that, in his grandmother's kitchen. Over the years, he developed a signature New Orleans palette, shaped by his wisdom about spices and refined through cooking all around the world. Eventually, Chef Guy decided it was time to open the vault.

He brought his vision to one of his oldest friends, Sharmaine — a California native with her own deep love for bold flavors and spices. Together, they launched in 2018, but weren't satisfied. The blends were good, but not different enough. So they went back to the drawing board, elevated every ingredient, and recreated each blend from the ground up.

What you taste today is the result of that obsession with getting it right.
